Michel Schorro, born in Lausanne, Switzerland, briefly ventured into the midst of the punk movement in England in 1976 as a drummer. Realizing there was life outside of Switzerland, two years later he moved to California and played in multiple bands for 15 years. Reaching 40, he realized that he did not die young and he was broke. It was time to find a more secure, well paid job.

With his training and background in electronics gained in Switzerland, he found work that enabled him to travel thoughout the US and all over the world. During this time he gained an appreciation for texture and color in our ordinary surroundings that led to his current work in photography and art.

He now alternates his residence between California and Buenos Aires and continues to explore beyond their shores.
